It's the most magical day of your life and, for your wedding or reception, you need a beautiful venue, with excellent food, discreet and caring service, and an ideal setting for photographs to treasure. Perhaps you need glorious bedrooms for your guests to stay in, for your wedding night or honeymoon. You might even prefer someone skilled and experienced to arrange the whole occasion for you, right down to the smallest details.

Welcome to your Wedding at The Eastbury

The beauty of The Eastbury, set in the heart of the historic town of Sherborne, is that we can provide all this in an exclusive atmosphere and make sure you are the most important couple in the world.

All of our 23 bedrooms and reception rooms in this fine Georgian building are individually designed in a fresh contemporary style, so it feels more like home than a hotel and, with our licence to hold civil ceremonies, we can provide a complete wedding package and the most intimate atmosphere for you to exchange your vows.

We can even help you organise all your wedding plans, so you can head off into married life with memories to cherish forever.

And if you yearn to make your wedding a little different, we have plenty of creative ideas to make the day extra special.We offer a wide range of options for your wedding reception and can cater for any number, from 5 to 120 guests within the building and can provide a marquee to cater for up to 200 guests on our lawn. We are also licensed to hold civil wedding ceremonies in all our function rooms. We will aim in this section to provide you with all the details you require in preparing for your wedding day. Your Wedding Meal at The Eastbury

You will see that we have a number of wedding menus featured, these are really meant as an initial guide. As part of the planning process we invite our wedding couples to meet with our Head Chef Brett Sutton and discuss their menu in detail, together they decide on a menu that meets their personal tastes and takes into account the seasonality. Once the menu has been decided we invite the couple in for a menu tasting in our restaurant.

For us the quality and originality of the food is of the highest importance to ensure the day is one that will always be remembered.

To help you budget for your day we offer a number of wine packages that make it easy to choose a package that suits. These include an arrival drink, half a bottle of wine per guest and a glass of Sparkling wine or Champgne for the toast.

Wedding Services The Eastbury Provides For You

The Conservatory Restaurant

A beautiful room on two levels with full view of our acre of walled garden. Up to 90 guests can be accommodated for a wedding breakfast.

The Garden Suite

This room can seat upto 50 people for the wedding breakfast. It is also the room that we use for the band or disco if you choose to have an evening party or reception. It has a removable section of carpet covering a dance floor.

As you can see from the plan below our Garden Suite can be opened up to form additional space for the Conservatory Restaurant, with the two rooms combined we can seat a maximum of 140 guests in one party.

The Library

This room can seat up to 12 people for a small and intimate wedding breakfast. The room is both elegant and cosy, seated around our boardroom table you can enjoy a menu that has been specially created for you by our Head Chef Brett Sutton.
